Haven Conference 2014 Recap
I wanted to take a few minutes and share my Haven Conference 2014 Recap! First, a huge thank you to the DIY Blogger Team who worked so hard to put this event on…what an undertaking!
This was my first blog conference and a perfect fit for me…not too big and not too far from home! Like most, I arrived with some nerves, but it didn’t take long until they settled down. Everyone was eager to meet and greet handing out their business cards! Let’s just say with all the creativity these girls have…they come with some amazing and clever cards!
There were blogging classes, networking opportunities with vendors, skill classes and parties!
I learned so much from the blogging classes with great tips and brain overloading information to become a better blogger. My brain is still a little fried! Thanks to all the speakers for sharing their knowledge with such enthusiasm and passion! Although, I did not attend any of the hands on classes {next year} I am sure they were informative as well!
We were given this gorgeous turquoise bag full of great vendor swag – thanks to all the Sponsors!
It was great to meet so many blog friends as well as discover new blogs to follow along with! Lots of fun shared on Instagram! And yes, there were times when I needed to take a moment to breathe…
Now that the fun is done I’m back at my day job…doing laundry 😉

Susan, Thanks for sharing a little recap. I saw so many bloggers posting photos from Haven on Facebook over the weekend, I almost felt like I was there – minus the awesome swag! I’d love to know why you chose this as your first conference over all the others. And is that duct tape in the photo really scented? Good luck getting caught up on laundry (and sleep!) this week!
